Social Connection

Testimonial

Letty Katchen and Andrew Cherry

"The Community Kollel has done a tremendous job of bringing the Jewish community together in Vancouver.  We don’t have any family in Vancouver so it gives us a place to celebrate Shabbat and Holidays and connects us to the Jewish community. It is a warm and hospitable place where everyone is welcome and we have met many wonderful people at the Kollel.  We look forward to Rabbi Shmulik signing our Ketubah later this year."

Upcoming Social Events

Loaves of Love

Thursday February 2 2012 8:00pm
On Thursday evenings, we will be learning the art of making challah and spend time connecting with old friends and meeting new people.

As part of the Loaves of Love program, you will be making at least two challot weekly; one to take home for Shabbat, and one to give to someone else. The second loaf will be brought to recipients in our community; the idea is to bring the warmth of Shabbat & the taste of freshly baked challah, together with a warm visit to someone in need. Share the love!
